*** Quick explanation of the above configuration ***
In this sample configuration three categories are defined. These will be used
to categorize the files described in MULTSRCH.CFG.
==============================================================================
*** IMPORTANT ***
The first line MUST contain the EXACT number of categories which you plan
to have available in the menu! No more, no less.
Do NOT skip lines or add spaces between lines.
==============================================================================
LINE DESCRIPTION OF ABOVE EXAMPLE:
Line 1:
Contains the EXACT number of categories you wish to define. Problems
will arise if this number is greater than the number of available
descriptions. The example above has three descriptions, therefore the
number on line 1 is 3. If you add descriptions don't forget to update
this value. Otherwise the categories will not be displayed.
Other lines:
The remaining lines are used to describe the categories. You should
limit the length of these descriptions to 30 characters or less, not
including color codes (80 max with codes).
Now that the categories are defined you may use them in MULTSRCH.CFG to
categorize your documents. To do this enter the number of the description in
line 4 of the file description in MULTSRCH.CFG. For example: If you want to
put the second file in MULTSRCH.CFG in the "Gaming Information" category put a
2 on line 4 of the file description. "Gaming Information" is number two in the
list above.
You can do this much easier using MULTEDIT.CFG - particularly if you have lots
of documents in your menu.
***** IMPORTANT! *****
If you edit MAIN.CFG and change the order of the entries then you MUST change
the category in each entry in MULTSRCH.CFG as well. The entries in
MULTSRCH.CFG use a number for the category, and this number points to an entry
in MAIN.CFG. It will use whatever category name is in that entry position.
